National Candy Day may have been Friday, but one student at Kansas State University will be celebrating candy for the next several months.
Hunter Jobbins recently found an apology note in his car from someone who stole a Kit Kat bar out of the cupholder of his unlocked car. Jobbins tweeted the note and quickly went viral. And Kit Kat noticed.
PS: Who wrote that letter? A chicken or a pre-schooler. Christ…
“Kit Kat reached out to me and said they wanted to send me some replacements,” Jobbins told USA TODAY College. “So I got a box in the mail with a card saying ‘Saw your Kit Kat got stolen, hopefully this makes up for it.’ It was really nice of them to do that.”
Hell of a move by Kit Kat. As that nerd Darren Rovell would say “Great social media marketing” right there. Personally I hate Kit Kats. They aren’t very good and the notion that I should share half of it with anyone is complete utter bullshit. The damn candy is designed to share… fuck that. Snickers all day everyday. The moment I get a Snickers I lick it from top to bottom so no one else can even think about getting some.
Did I say Rovell is a nerd? Hunter looks to be one as well.
